Virtual Ensemble "Professor P"

To illustrate some of my arrangements I create multi-track recordings, and publish them as performed by "Professor P". Contrary to the other ensembles ARTE and Kwintissimo you cannot book the ensemble "Professor P" as all parts are recorded by the same person (me).

The instrumentation of Professor P consists of: 1) Bayan AKKO Super Deluxe, 2) Bugari 540/ARS/C, 3) Hohner Morino Artiste XS, Pigini C39 Basson. Using different accordions creates a more realistic ensemble sound than playing everything on the same instrument.

Professor P made some recordings in 2005 already, preparing a CD for the (now defunct) ensemble Avanti. The old recordings were all played on Bugari Artist Cassotto instruments and a Bugari basson. These recordings include:
Gavotte from BWV 1068 by J.S. Bach. (This composition also includes the famous Air).
Sheep May Safely Graze, BWV 208 by J.S. Bach.
Prelude and Fugue in G minor, BWV 558 by J.S Bach. (This is not my arrangement.)
Bagatelle by Josef Rixner (arrangement by Curt Herold).
Morgenstimmung from the Peer Gynt suite by Edvard Grieg. (This recording is a bit "rushed", I know...).
In der Halle des Bergkonigs from the Peer Gynt suite by Edvard Grieg. (The timpani are played on a Roland digital piano.)

Professor P started recording again in 2018 (with the newer instrument selection). The list of new recordings is:
Adagio from BWV 564 (by J.S. Bach). This composition featured in the final episode of the Belgian TV series "Professor T".
Air from BWV 1068 (by J.S. Bach). This is the famous Air on the G-string, in the original key of D major.
Siciliano from BWV 1031 (by J.S. Bach). This is played with bayan and harpsichord. (The original is for flute and harpsichord.)
